Susan Griggs, RN, CNM

Certified Nurse Midwife

Susan GriggsSusan Griggs is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Nurse Midwife, and received both her bachelor and master of science degree in nursing from Emory University. In 1994 she completed board certification in Nurse Midwifery by the American College of Nurse Midwives. Susan has practiced as a nurse midwife across the Atlanta area since 1994, and has delivered over 400 babies since joining Cherokee Women’s Health Specialists. Over the past decade, Susan has also served as clinical instructor for the Kennesaw State University School of Nursing. Susan lives in Woodstock with her husband and two daughters, who are attending college.

Jodi Toledo, CNM

Certified Nurse Midwife

Jodi ToledoJodi Toledo earned her CNM degree from the country’s founding school of midwifery, the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Kentucky. She joins us from an obstetrical practice at Northside and Northside-Forsyth. Jodi has felt a life-long calling to serve pregnant women, early serving as a doula and childbirth educator for expectant mothers in hospitals all over Atlanta, then earning her nursing degree and working for a decade as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Northside-Cherokee. Jodi is married with a blended family of 6 children, ranging from age 27 to 3 years.

Kelly A. Franckowiak, RD, LD, CLC

Registered Dietitian

Kelly FranckowiakKelly Franckowiak is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, and a Certified Lactation Consultant. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition from Pennsylvania State University and went on to do her dietetic internship with The University of Georgia. She is currently working toward her master’s degree. Kelly has been working in the field of nutrition and breast feeding for over 12 years and most recently completed a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management. Kelly lives in Kennesaw with her husband Jon, their son Brady - and their three furry children Maggie, Nittany and Chloe. In her spare time Kelly enjoys gardening, traveling, watching movies and relaxing with the family.

Julie Sayers, BS, PA–C

Certified Physician Assistant

Julie SayersJulie Sayers received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology at the State University of New York at Stonybrook. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree and Physician Assistant certification through the Emory University School of Medicine Department of Community Health. Julie has been in practice for the past twenty years, and thoroughly enjoys providing healthcare for women from their teenage years into postmenopause. She has extensive experience in hormone replacement consultation, and takes a pro-active stance in the use of ultrasound in cancer detection. Julie lives in Buckhead with her husband, and has two children, attending college and law school respectively.
