Robotic Surgery

The latest advancement to surgery is the Da Vinci Surgical robot.

With this million dollar piece of equipment, advanced surgeries can be performed through tiny incisions that would not be possible otherwise. The doctors at Cherokee Women’s Health Specialists specialize in laparoscopic surgery and can do most procedures through small incisions without using the robot. Yet some patients do require robotic surgery.

Northside Hospital-Cherokee, the hospital at which we perform most of our surgeries, is just the third hospital in Georgia to invest in the Da Vinci Robot technology. We are proud to offer our patients this advanced technology when indicated and necessary.
